This course is NRA PERSONAL PROTECTION OUTSIDE THE HOME LEVEL 2 CLASS We will focus on the techniques needed to develop a defensive mindset. This course teaches students the knowledge, skills and attitude essential for avoiding dangerous confrontations and for the safe, effective and responsible use of a concealed pistol for self-defense outside the home.

While attending this course students will learn about:
- Students will learn how to present/draw a pistol from concealment. VII-VII
- Students will be able to conduct speed reloading. VII-VII
- Students will be able to clear stoppages of their pistols. VII-VII
- Students will be able to shoot targets in the center of mass. VII-VII
- Using one handed combat shooting techniques. VII-VII
- Moving rearward, stopping and shooting. VII-VII
- Moving from standing to kneeling position and shooting around a low barricade. VII-VII
- Moving from a standing to squatting position and shooting around a low barricade. VII-VII
- Moving off the line of attack/drawing concealed pistol and reholstering. V-V
- Moving from a sitting to standing position and shooting. VII-VII
- Moving and turning left 90 degrees to engage their target. VI-VI
- Moving and turning right 90 degrees to engage their target. VII-VII
- Moving and turning left 180 degrees to engage their target. VII-VII
- Moving and turning right 180 degrees to engage their target. VII-VII
- Engaging a target at extended range. VII-VII
- Students will also engage targets under low light conditions. VII-VII

The approved method of carrying in a holster in one of our classes is with an outside the waist band belt mounted holster, this is required for any class where holsters are allowed. In our defensive firearms courses we have set up the criteria for approved holsters for the student’s safety
- QUALITIES OF AN APPROVED STYLED HOLSTER:
- QUALITY STRONG SIDE HIP HOLSTER.
- WE REQUIRE THAT YOU TRAIN WITH A FIRING SIDE, OUTSIDE THE WAIST BAND, BELT HOLSTER WHICH SECURELY HOLDS THE PISTOL SECURELY AND FULLY COVERS THE TRIGGER.
- If your preferred method of carry is or will be purse, fanny pack, or other position, we can give you advice on those methods of concealed carry during class.
